As they would say on Iron Chef which series reins supreme?

For me it would have to be DS9! And First Contact.

i could of pointed out the error in the quoted sentence, but i could care less. its enough that we know what was meant, for all intensive porpoises.

I don't really like Star Trek, but of the shows, Next Generation is best. I like it because I like Patrick Strewart. As for the movies, I've only seen the movie with the Picard clone, so whichever one that is wins my vote by default.

Which was also the worst of the all the ST movies ever made, and a contender for one of the worst movies of all time.

My votes, ST:TOS/ST:FC.

I don't get the appeal of the original series. Liked First Contact though.

This poll finally ends the damn discussion. TNG is amazing and Voyager is retarded.

Seriously though, if you just go by story lines and writing, I don't see how any of this is opinion and not plain fact.

I tie DS9 and TNG for 1st. Voyager and Enterprise tied for 2nd. TOS is classic sure, but not really enjoyable to watch outside of the novelty factor (for me anyway).

Haven't seen all of the movies, and while First Contact blows it out of the water I seem to be one of the few who like Nemesis. It was a fun, action-packed movie. I'm also not that pissed that they "killed" off data. Doesn't anyone else realize that B4 will eventually become Data once he assimilates his consciousness? Data isn't dead at all.

My favorite is TNG, then DS9.

I like Generations and FC - but I love all the Picard-era movies.

Although I liked the original for what it was, I liked TNG even more.

As for the movies... you can't beat Ricardo Montalban. :)

TNG. FC.

I actually happened to have season 3 of TNG playing while posting in this thread. :p

Yep

For sure.

DS9 had the best story arc, charcter development, etc. I'm rewatching it on my Kuro right now and on season 5. TNG has great characters, but DS9 has the better story arcs and plots. "In the Pale Moonlight" is the best episode of ST ever (and I'm backed up by StarTrek.com ratings). Then you have Far Beyond the Stars, and Rocks and Shoals as #2 and #3 highest rated episodes ever (per Startrek.com), and DS9 has 4 of the top 10 episodes (TNG has 3, TOS has 2 and VOY has 1). DS9>All other series :p

First Contact was great. They need to make a movie with Q though IMO.

Other than the last season of DS9, I have no idea how any of you could stand that show. Bajor, its prophets and the Delta Quadrant are bar none the most boring set pieces in the Star Trek universe. I do admit though that Sisko was pure badass. TNG for me!

Wrath Of Khan is far superior to any other ST movie. That battle isn't even close.

I hope you're joking :)

I could have pointed out the error in the quoted sentence but I couldn't care less. It's enough that we know what was meant for all intents and purposes.

The proper form of "for all intents and purposes" is "to all intents and purposes" though the former is found in common usage. I suspect I missed other errors and added my own.

You couldn't tell he was joking by the words "intensive porpoises"? As in relatives of dolphins?
