I always found it weird to see people set up their systems with the keyboard and mouse on two different planes.

Do you play PC games like that? It seems so odd.

yea, that is exactly how I play, just like you see it.

It seems natural to me, must just be a personal preference.

Keyboard and stereo are from 1999. :p

But of course. If you're not comfortable with the technology level, perhaps you'll find this comforting:

:D

Oh I'm fine with whatever tech level people want to be at, my television audio receiver I bought in 1996 and it still looks modern and works great.

But, I have LCD monitors from 2002. I think CRT could even predate that, ha!

But again just making sure I was seeing correctly, it's not a knock against the setup, I don't have the snazziest setup either, mine ranks in at about 2006 or so I think, maybe 2007 if I'm lucky for the bulk of it, though it does have an SSD in it so it scoots right along.

I have that same laptop, still running strong after 2.5 years

Heh, shouldn't a laptop be running strong at 2.5 years? I have laptops that are working fine at 8 and 10 years, just sold two that were 9 years old on here a few months ago.

Its funny how a computer can be only 2.5 years old and the perception is that it's ancient and should have failed a long time ago and having made it this far is some kind of miracle. Such a shame these days.

Perhaps he meant running strong as in it's still a very capable machine capable of doing everything he/she needs it to? :p

In comparison my laptop is only 4 years old and feels ancient D:

I'd take a picture of my set-up if I my desk wasn't such a POS! (paint coming off on certain parts).

By running strong I mean that it still runs present PC games fairly well and was a "bang for your buck" gaming laptop back in 2009.

I wasn't aware EVGA had released a Hamster powered cooler for the 560Ti

Are you able to OC much with the increased cooling performance?
