Not really a Macro shot as far as I know, but it sort of fits into this category by being a very close-up shot. This is of one of my dogs, Faith, a pure bred Golden Retriever.
Faith
Taken with a Kodak DC215 that I picked up for 50 bucks at a garage sale. Was hardly used, in new condition, with everything included in the original box. Didn't seem like a bad deal.

Glad you like it!That was taken at 5x *handheld*, with the sun for lighting. I put some of the stuff I have online and a few more from earlier in the summer in one place here. Not all are true macro, but that seems to mean different things to different people anymore. I'll be adding to it soon.
Edro13, okay, I won't tell you thenActually I wrote quite a bit about my equipment in one of the other threads I linked to. I live in Ohio, same as Ornery, nowhere exotic by any stretch.

Black Widow I almost ran into!
My wife (she is terrified of spiders) nearly freaked when she saw this!
Cheers!

Some things you just can't get too close to for a macro.
That will really put a damper on your photography. (and your balls too!)
Cheers!
