If you open it, is that a felony, ie. does the package have to go through the USPS in order for you to be charged with a felony?

I think it's a felony, but I'm not sure. In any case, you should send it to the intended recipient

If it ain't adressed to you and you signed for it, you're going up the river for sure.

I had them leave one on my steps (without me signing), called FedEx and they said they'd retreive it. They didn't show. Tried a few more times, no dice, so I kept it.

And what about in the case if it's addressed to YOUR address but the wrong name?

I just had that happen to me. Microsoft sent a gratis to my old address, and DHL wouldnt do a thing about it. Luckily they left it sitting out by the mailbox with the word Return written on it, so thankfully I caught it before someone else took it!

Wasn't anything good, or I'd remember it.
