Lets say you brother has a sex change operation done...

If it's like that, in my heart, I feel that he is still my brother. But if he/she whatever now wants to be referred as sister, I don't mind that either. But in blood, he is still my brother regardless of the superficial enhance she/he now has...

LOLLL...

My brother would never get one.. but if he did, I would Baker Act him and put him in an asylum..

Then, I would probby never talk to him again.. That's just something I wouldn't forgive. People that get sex change operations are FREAKS that deserve no attention other than medical attention..

Homosexuality = no problem... cutting off penis = big problem.

No, and in fact, a sexual reassignment surgery is not required in order to be categorized as the opposite sex. Simply beginning the process for SRS is enough, after certain criteria are met, to have legal documents showing the opposite gender.
And some of you people are just cruel and immature. I would hate to have some of you as kin if there were REAL issues to deal with.
In the 1950's there were thousands of babies born with undefined sexual organs which were assigned a sex UNKNOWN by the parents. Sexual Dysphoria is a real condition.
Read a little more and learn a lot.

Do you still refer to them as your brother?
Wasn't that an episode of Law&Order: SVU?
Oh, the one with the twins and one had a botched circumcision so they raised him as a girl and the twisted European therapist made them have sex with each other?
No, the one that kills her/his boyfriend's brother.

episode 87: Fallacy

Yeah, seen that episode. (S)he goes to Rikers and gets beaten to death by another inmate for who she is. You would think they would take that sort of situation into consideration before putting that kind of inmate in the GP.

To tell you the truth I wouldn't call him/her period.
wow, that is awful.

i'd stick by my blood, and i'd refer to him as whatever he wanted.
Screw that. Blood is thicker than water, but it only goes so far.

You know, it is one thing to turn on family if they do something against you, but it is another entirely to disown them over choices made about their own life.

True that !

If I had a brother that did something like that, I'd disown him. I have no tolerance for homosexuals let alone transexuals.

i didn't have the operation. why should it bother me if they wanted a gender reassignment. they are still possible donor. kidney/liver/blood....

yeah "it"

but I'd probably shoot it in the head.

WTF is with sex changes...do these guys get off on going around and getting other guys to be gay with them without them knowing?? (this is assuming that it's not obvious...which in a lot of cases it is - which is a good thing)

Having female parts "added" on to you doesn't make you a female.

This boy and her brother both had sex change operations.

They refer to each other as sisters now, and rightly so. If my brother had a sex change operation done, I would refer to her as my sister, and if my sister had a sex change operation then I would refer to him as my brother.

Actually, in sex change operations they "detract" male parts from you and create a female sex organ with what is left. Male to female sex changes are quite effective, and the new woman can often achieve orgasm, whereas female to male sex changes can be significantly more complicated and not as natural.

For many male to female sex changes, you cannot tell the difference.

They can referr all they want...they're still male not female.

Perhaps not chromosonally.

But legally, emotionally, physically and mentally, they are female and have every right to be considered as such.

They should have to get a stamp or some crap then.

I know they get rid of the male genitials and form them into a fake vagina but I'm assuming they would have to have some breast implants put in and all to make the male look like a female.

If any male gets altered to look like a female then if they don't tell their partners this fact they should be shot really. That's just sick and disgusting. As long as they are upfront about their alterations the I don't really care what they do to imitate the female form.

Born male, always male. They are NOT physically female or they would have been born that way. Just because some doctor cut on them and made fake female genitalia on a male person doesn't make them physically a female. Their bone structure would be different and I'd like to see them bear a child in their womb. Oh...wait no they don't have ovaries now do they?

Legally they shouldn't be considered female....if they are then that's a law that should be fixed.

Mentally...I can see that but there's gotta be some medicine or something to fix that problem.
