I wouldn't notice. As long as your legs aren't unsightly anyway. If a woman had unsightly legs I'd be mentally wondering why she didn't wear the pantyhose. Otherwise, I would not notice the omission.

I'm sure your legs look just fine. ;)

Thank you all... even for the smart ass comments.

First off... OF COURSE legs need to be shaved. Also, I will be wearing closed toed shoes. AND, i would NEVER wear something slutty to an interview.
Finally, it is a toss up for me because i do have a nice suit, but but don't know if it is better to wear a nice skirt and top and be a little more feminine than with a suit.
I will think about thigh highs as well, but my legs are tan enough that unless someone really looked, they would not know i wasnt wearing them. Plus, i want to look contemporary but not dated.

Edit to say... the last job i did not get because of how I looked, eventhogh i wore a very VERY conservative outfit, the other women in the panel interview were not liking me (as a professional). It was between myeslf and another girl and the other women bitched at their manager (who had the final say) because he was going to hire me. They did not like that i was blonde, etc. So, he went with the other girl because of the pressure they put on him... EVENTHOUGH, her interviews went terribly bad.
SO, i dress as conservative as possible with hardly any makeup because of that. I never though that would happen.

Actually itll be doing him a favor because it will be one less thing that needs to be taken off before the butsecks happens. Regardless depending on how good you are you will have the job anyway. And with that job comes the sexual harassment power. Youre prettymuch set. Have a good life.

I'm just messing with you. And trying to piss off the people who think it doesn't matter if you mark up your entire body with ink. ;)

I ask because technically it is unprofessional to not wear pantyhose when wearing a skirt/dress, but it is going to be quite warm the day of my interview and to be honest, I HATE PANTYHOSE and would rather not wear them.

Also, ladies, should i just wear them?

PS, skirt length: below the knee, with closed toed high heels.

pantyhose?! where are you applying to? A convent?!

for girls under 30, i see more short skirts than girls with panyhose.

Unless you have attention-drawing furry legs maybe..

I would agree, but just go with the pantyhose. Take the safe route.

i wouldn't notice. the only thing i'd probably notice (other than boobs as mentioned) would be "hey, she's got nice legs"... and then proceed to probably get sued and fired for sexual harassment.

I'm really surprised that no one has asked for pics at this point. I mean a comparison between pantyhose/no pantyhose with the actual skirt would be nice. I guess it's a respect thing for LolaWiz.

edit: got beaten 2 posts back :|

actually the last interview i went on i wore the pantyhose, but i don't think it would have made much of a difference. just be clean shaven, and it shouldn't be difference. you're usually sitting behind a table anyways - if they're staying down at your legs, then that's just creepy.

and to the pants suit: a pants suit make me look shorter than i actually am. the skirt makes me look a bit older - anything that i can to offset how young i look and my midgetness.

i don't think i've ever dinged anyone because they didn't wear pantyhose, but i did ding because bra straps were showing.

I really think you should wear them, because I'm going through interviews too and everyone else has been wearing them...

yes, yes i hope it is for respect, however there were pics asked for but i am not going to go out and buy a pair and then put them on and then have my husband take a photo of me in them for some guys to oogle on an internet form.
The next pics i post will not be until "the anniversary".

see, i am shorter too and i like the way i look (and feel more confident) in a skirt and heels.
I agree with your thought process

I prefer panty hose, so my nads won't sag! j/k

BTW, I would definitely notice if a woman is not weary hoisery, how ever, it would not make one iota of difference, as to whether or not she got hired, AFAIK. :)
