I'm skeptical. There are enormous engineering challenges to launching missiles from underwater.

NK propaganda promotes him as a demigod. That is heady stuff for a pathological narcissist. It could make him believe he is indestructible.

Again, if he thought he was indestructible he wouldn't be assassinating people. I'm really against the characterization of KJU or the North Korean government as irrational or unpredictable. They're brutal, they're war criminals to be sure, but they're acting exactly like any nation would act if they believed they were at serious risk of attack.

You're asking a meaningless question. Why didn't Hitler start exterminating the Jews in 1933 instead of waiting until 1941? The fact that he did it later didn't mean he had no capacity or intent to do it.

I really don't like taking the conversation here, but my understanding is that Germany did not have the apparatus in place for mass killing until the '40s.

My point is that KJU has had the capacity to strike South Korea, Japan, and other American aligned nations. So if he hasn't done it yet, something would have to change to make them do it.

As for KJU, I disagree. I think he's far worse than his father. Not pragmatic. An insane psychopath. When he had his uncle killed, he executed his uncle's entire branch of the family just in case any turned out to be subversive. Some were executed with flamethrowers. Next to KJU, the Ayatollah is Ghandi.

.

Holy fuck, how clueless is it possible for a person to be?

So he had his uncle killed. And his family. Any maybe his dogs and goldfish too. So what? He's an obnoxious little kid who's essentially pulling the wings off flies and stomping on anthills because he feels impotent and he's not able to fight back against the bigger kids on the playground. He does violent things against even weaker people who are unable to protect themselves, that's what makes him feel tough. Has he even once done anything to actually provoke a response from anyone that could kick his ass? Ever once done anything that put himself at risk? Ever once done something that would threaten his regime? Take your time now.

Kim Jong whichever has had the capability to strike against SK since day one of his regime and can easily launch something at Japan. Seen it happen yet? He won't do jack shit against anyone that's strong enough to grind his fat ass into the mud of the shithole he pretends to lead. That's why he kills people like his uncle, because he can't attack anyone bigger or tougher without it being suicide.

I disagree with this. A VX attack in a Malaysian airport is not pulling the wings off a fly. He's super paranoid.

I didn't say he has the intent right now. I'm saying he is unstable and given enough time, he will eventually be provoked to do it. Kind of like Trump but on a different scale. Who knows what Trump will do one moment to the next. He could start a war because someone insulted him. But he hasn't done it yet. Unstable people act in unpredictable ways and with a long enough time, eventually they end up doing something horrible. If Trump ruled for 40 years, you think he might eventually start a nuclear war? It's possible. More so for KJU.
