Let's Play...Will I Get My FedEx Package Today??

Ordered something off amazon.com, it shipped on the 16th, just checked FedEx.com for the tracking info and it says "Sep 19, 2003 --- 8:30 am --- On FedEx vehicle for delivery". However, a little above that it says "Estimated delivery date --- Sep 22, 03 by 4:30 pm". Who thinks FedEx will actually please me for once and the phone will come earlier than expected?

or
You give the driver a beer whenever he comes to your place. 😀

I've seen the exact same thing and it was not delivered until the "scheduled delivery" even though it was out for delivery a day early. It depends on the fedex person.

That happens to me with newegg stuff alot. I always figured it was the "super saver" shipping option.

Fvck! Thats what I got I think...it was $6.95 too..compared to the FREE option, which I wanted to choose but accidently didn't and just let it go cause I want my new celly bad 🙂

There is a very good chance that you will NOT see the package today. I went through this same situation with my stereo receiver a few weeks back. Once it finally got here, I met the FeEx guy outside my house. He told me that the days leading up to the delivery day for me were like "Christmas" because he had between 150 - 250 packages on his truck each day. Due to these deliveries, my delivery was held until the "expected" date of delivery.

Best of luck ... just find something to do today so you don't have to think about the delivery. 🙂

True. I will def be doing that, hopefully it will come since this isn't like a "high delivery" time period. I'll waste my time listening to music, doin' some other stuff to keep my mind off it. Thanks 🙂

was supposed to get my FP1800 today but just checked FedEx tracking and they tried to deliver it but the leasing office was closed. they usually sign off on the packages and i pick it up when i get home 🙁

If it doesn't get delivered today, you can still head down to the depot tomorrow and pick it up yourself if you want it that bad.

I've done just that on quite a few occasions. They don't even have to attempt a delivery before you can pick it up. 😉

Super Saver means they save it until they absolutely have to give it to you. Here is my travail with a super saver package.

Ha, it actualyl came today. Like early as hell too, maybe around 11ish...was amazing. I like FedEX now and I love my new phone!! Good job fedex. He just left it at my door...didn't even ring the doorbell tho ;\
