Love in a taxi is not a movie

Yes it is. Made in 1980 with mostly an amateur cast
Love In A Taxi is a shot in New York indie that somehow, miraculously, melds a mostly amateur cast with a one off screenplay to create a wonderful slice of life drama. Incorporating romance, crime, and comedy elements in well proportioned measures, it's a life-affirming take on race relations in a gritty late 70s Manhattan that no longer exists. Like most Big Apple productions, the film benefits tremendously from location shooting, including a lengthy sequence in the American Museum of Natural History that Reichsfuhrer Giuliani would NEVER have allowed. This is a film crying out to be rediscovered.
