Scary that it's considered common and hereditary... passing on from parent to child at a 50% chance. Strikes in your 30s to 40s. There is no cure.

What I'm wondering is... if you're a child who was that 50% lucky enough not to get it from the parent... does that mean that the string has stopped ? Sounds like the case.

I'm curious to know if you don't have it and/or never show symptons of it, can you still be a carrier for it?
