I didn't really care who won, but it did look like the refs were rooting for uconn to win.

It's all about ratings in the tourney. Cinderellas, while slobered over by the fans and the announcers, are set up to lose by the higher-ups at CBS.

Well, even the announcers couldn't have sounded more dissapointed when GMU won. And, it would seem to me that a cinderella team getting this far would give higher ratings?

Bill Raftery & Vern Lundquist were excited for GMU throughout the whole game. Billy Packer on the other hand...

I'm torn whether to support them or not. I'm an alum from a CAA school, but my ex went to GMU and I hate her and everthing about her.

I also find it funny that all the top analyst were saying the SEC was weak this year behind the Big East, Big 10. and ACC.

The Big 10 didn't get anyone past the second round and the Big East has no one in the Final 4 yet the SEC has 2 of the 4.

This year has to be the most level playing field ever.

I remember all the Duke and UNC fans proclaiming that the SEC was down this year..
It sure sucks to have a "down" year

I have no idea why I noticed this but I thought it was great when all of the George Mason guys said their name and major. I guess I noticed because all 5 majored in the same 2 majors. The first 3 were 'Communications' and the last 2 were 'Sports Management'. UCONN could be the same way but that was kind of funny to me. Obvious sports majors ftw! (really!)

SEC owns you.

Looks like the CAA is doing good this year in the post season
GMU - final four in NCAA
ODU - final four in NIT

meh, if you bet just 20$ in the beginning for GMU to go all the way (400 to 1), you could win $8000. too early to tell if that's a good investment...
right now the odds is about 15 to 1.
