Allright, the man has a will that doesn't break. He has my applause.

However, I've gotta point something out... it took him 173 hours, 45 minutes.. I would assume he didn't do it straight because very few people have the ability to stay up for 7 and some odd days and nights.

I gotta feel sorry for the camera crew, police, and the support people that follow him- I am not so certain one man's personal quest should cost taxpayers whatever it is that it cost them to pay for those police.

Not everything should be boiled down to money. Pick something more appropriatetly quantifiable, like this impending war, perhaps.

While it's true that there would have been some cost involved, we have to realise that this dose not go on every day. And as for the people that followed and supported him, I don't think that they would be fealing bad. Not to mention the inpressive message that it sends out to other disabled people.
