Lets get rid of cars

in 2010 30K+ people died and over 60k+ were injured. This doesn't even account for monetary loss and economic loss that automobile accidents cause. Traffic gets held up, money being lost there. I purpose we institute a ban on owning a personal vehicle. We'll go around confiscating them all and use the resources to put in public transport to replace it. trains and buses. i mean so much is lost every year due to our arrogant right to think we should own our own personal vehicle.

Hey this is something I've legitimately been thinking about. If people really want to start getting rid of somethings that are huge burdens and costs to society. Things that are causing real actual harm. Lets start here. This is something we could replace and do without, it costs insane amounts of money, resources and lives just to support the current infrastructure. Seems rather inefficient to me no? Not to mention where in the Constitution is the right to own an automobile aforementioned?

Also, this really isn't politics nor is it news. It's rather off-topic imo.

Can a kid swallow a car? No. Ruling: Cars stay.

Can a kid swallow a toy car? Yes. Ruling: Toy car ban.

Someone chain him to the heater again. And quit leaving the door unlocked.

Using that logic we had better ban pens, erasers, batteries, and a whole host of other things because kids can swallow them or pieces of them.

Psst, hey genius, cars weren't designed to kill people and they actually have a practical application that is beneficial and totally not lethal when used in the manner for which they were created.

Now, we can ban SUVs if you like. I'm with you on that one. :awe:

Yes, I agree with your assessment. Anything that can be swallowed by a child needs to be banned immediately so we don't like like idiots and hypocrites with the buckyball ban. I think as parents we all know that we don't pick and choose what toys or objects our child swallows, so if its not buckyballs its bound to be something else.

I vote we get rid of this dangerous item first:

Ban+Dihydrogen+Monoxide.+It+kills+be+careful.+funniest+to+chemists_98c203_3278541.gif

Ban everything. Let's just live a life like in Surrogates. Then we can have super cool robot schecks!!

How do you propose thousands of people do their job properly without SUVs to haul stuff?
