I saw some this morning that were like 20,000 votes in his favor to 4,000 in regards to her. That does not match up to *anyone* running a scientific poll. The first debate was a shitshow of online polls brigaded by his troll army over a /r/the_donald. They definitely had some impact on online polls for this one too. It just amazes me that he is so delusional that he expects any reasonable person to sit there and eat the shit sandwich he just served up. I have no words to describe the chasm of logical leaps that people have to make to believe this stuff he spews.

He's never really been punished in his life and has only ever continued to make money by endlessly bullshitting people and bullying them into getting what he wants. He is, quite literally, the petulant 4 year-old that was never spanked for being an asshole. He really doesn't know any better, imo. Pure, unfiltered bullshit, lack of curiosity, and general intellectual vacuousness has served him without fail his entire life. The dude is 71 fricking years old. He isn't going to be learning anything new.

I think his tweet rage is a reflection of this being the first foray into public life that he can't control. With The Apprentice--he gets final cut, he gets the scripting, he can decide what message about himself is given to the world. His image has been carefully massaged for decades now, and he absolutely can not tolerate the fact that his vile self is the only image that is coming across. The problem is that he fundamentally believe these things he says, but they were always with buddies and pals, he could control the public image in any way that he wanted. Somehow he just never understood that running for office like this would put him under the microscope in such a way that the entire history of his personal life and every little comment that he said would be used as a weapon against him. I submit that he is exactly that stupid to not have been aware of this. His Twitter rage is lashing out over this powerless inability to control the bad gross nasty lying things that everyone keeps saying about him! "No, Donald you are merely lashing out against the very words that have come out of your mouth." It suggests to me that he has some serious personality disorder beyond "simple" narcissism. It seems that he fundamentally believes that he never says these things. He is such a pathological liar and fantasist that the reality sees never squares with that which he has created.

I think he knows he's beat, that only a miracle will put him in the oval office. That's what the whole "unleashed" thing is all about. He no longer cares about winning but rather just basking in the adoration of his fans at rallies. They'll cheer anything that comes out of his mouth.

Oh cut him some slack. He's a single issue "family values" voter. So he has to give it up to the Donald because of that time he said he would over turn Roe.

It's hard to sacrifice all of your family values by voting for a philandering, multiple divorcée, who sexually assaults women, and makes disturbing comments about his daughter.

Once you give it up you don't want it to be for nothing. So of course you're going to lie to yourself that it wasn't for nothing.
