Question 'Let's finish setting up your device' bug?

Why is Windows asking me to finish setting up ??? a Microsoft account after a year of being installed?

This is the first time this has happened on my gaming rig, and quite frankly I'm ready to wipe the entire drive if it happens again.

I got that one one of my machines, like a few weeks after 2004 was installed.

What irked me more than just seeing that screen, was the besides the "Accept" button, the other button didn't say "don't ask me again", it said "remind me again in a few weeks".

So it looks like it will be a recurring nightmare for some people (me?). Shame MS is push that that hard.

Yeah, that's the other weird part.

At that point you can ctrl-alt-delete and end the task through task manager.

The funny thing is my work laptop just started an odd Windows behavior. Usually when a tool generates a Word document and autofills the form out it saves it to a NAS somewhere. But now it can't because effing M$ interrupts the process thinking it has to save it to the effing M$ cloud--which is a big effing NO NO. I have no intentions on setting up a M$ cloud account. I do not believe in cloud storage. It is there to data mine with the illusion of benefiting you.
