Lets do this for FS/T....

We need to make a dedicated 'thread' inside of FS/T for all the Trolls instead of leaving them at the top...theres 4 or 5 of them there right now and every time I refresh I keep seeing a good deal and want to look, but its just a troll thread...grrr.

This seem like a good idea to anyone else? It would help us to keep up w/ all the trolls, so they're all in one place, instead of just sitting at the top of the FS/T....I dunno, thats my input. ^_^

It has been suggested and shot down. The problem with creating a subcategory is noone would read it until it was too late. I mean, people rarely read and follow the rules let alone check for trolls and advice before they make a deal. If everyone followed the trading guidance in the rules thread, there wouldn't be any need for troll threads to begin with.

Well, I am a firm believe that people need to take responsibility for what they do.

If the mods are kind enough to take their time to try to protect the membership from scroundral traders, by posting a list, then those who choose not to read it have no one to blame but themselves. Clogging FS/T with numerous troll threads is messy and space wasting. I would much rather see one thread to read before trading than having to scroll down half a page to get to the actual trading threads.

I'm in there to buy stuff, not see 5+ troll threads.

Until something happens and you complain about a troll not being made aware to the public. Besides, how hard is it to scroll down 5 or so extra lines? Not very IMHO.

In the past there were just the current trolls on notice, and that's fine. But now it's like we're building up some sort of a museum of trolls.

We have a troll thread from 2006 still stickied! :Q

Another that's 8 months old, 6 months old, and a few 3 months old.

At a minimum, I don't think the one from 2006 needs to remain stickied.

How about a keeping two or three of the most recent troll threads stickied for no more than say, 3-6 months, then moving the information to a dedicated troll thread/sub-category?

Best of both worlds?
