I'm curious about these beef alternators you speak of...perhaps there is an online purveyor of such wares? Could they be purchased in bulk?

In Vietnam, the equivalent to Rear Admiral is the Chuẩn Đô đốc or Đề đốc, literally "master of the rowboat".
