Supply a pic and us martial arts masters will supply the answer.

*flys around room by touching walls with tippie toes. Then, busts out 4 inch mini sword from Japan Town in San Fran and cuts through titanium rod with no effort*

It's prayer beads that are normally worn around the wrist. Several years ago those became a fashion item here. People would wear green ones for more money, pink ones for love etc.

you mean his thingy? If you don't have one, I'm not too sure as to where you could purchase one.

I'm sure it wasn't just a normal bead necklace. Didn't it have a wire in it for strangling people or something?

<< meditation beads >>

Like they mentioned above, they are meditation beads or prayer beads. Most people who actually use them for purposes other than decoration will chant a sort of mini-prayer and each time you chant it, you move your thumb to the next bead. There is usually a tassle like string attached between two of the beads on the necklace which is used for counting purposes (much easier to count the number of times you've gone through the entire necklace rather than each individual bead)

BTW, just go to your local Chinatown for a set.
