i got let off going about 115 mph in a 50ish zone
i was racing some a$$hole in a jetta (his drunk gf dropped crap out the window and it splattered all over the front of my car) afterwards my cousin was going to get out of the car if we stopped and beat them down.
so yeah, got pulled over, explained how i was upset about the crap on the car, and he let me off without anything. great guy. only nice cop i've had.. the other give me tickets for crap such as "unncessary noise" when all i do is screech the tires... total morons.

Yes, it's on a dead straight stretch of well lit road at 11PM. There were no other cars but me. It does not run near any area where wild life could jump out. It's a state highway where both sides were surrounded by large easy to see parking lot for office parks.

I must say that did deserve a ticket and perhaps more than just a speeding ticket. Had I gotten one I there is no question that paying it was the only realistic thing to do. Hard to dispute something like 90 in a 40.

I just remembered a funny story about a guy who was pulled over because he didn't signal and made a turn. So he goes to court and he asks the cop how he knows he didn't signal.
cop: I know because I was looking at your tailights all the time
