My easily reformatted PC begs to differ.

7GB for windows, the rest for my data, store My Documents on the second partition, I can be ready to reformat and install windows in NO TIME.

i have a 120GB hd for my os/games/programs and a 160GB for music, pictures, videos, downloads, etc.

i format pretty regularly for some reason. usually every few months i'll back up 160GB hd to dvd's.

Windows somehow corrupted the master boot partition on my 80GB Maxtor last weekend so it wouldn't boot. Installed Windows on another drive and had R-Studio demo running on the 80GB as a slave for over 2 days now to retrieve the data. Windows cannot see the drive but R-Studio has so far seen over 2000 directories on the drive, but it's only halfway through seems like. Hopefully I get my documents and media back.
