That was a funny story, OP and there's no doubt I would have reacted the same exact way had it happened to me. I cannot stand spiders.

49erinnc, this has happened to me before while driving on a road. It's actually a very bad situation becuase you panic. However, it's a lot more convenient than being stuck in a drive through because at least on the road, you can pull over and take care of it.
