Actually, that's about as congenial as I ever look. Just today, I walked by a girl at work. I was in a perfectly good mood, wasn't even remotely upset. She commented "Gregg, you're too serious. You look mean walking around dressed all in black like that." I tend towards the painfully serious side of things, the last two places I've worked I've developed a reputation for:
1) Never smiling.
2) Always wearing black.
I've even been accused of being "gothic country."

Well, I couldn't sleep 'cause NFS4 reminded me of someone special and I just have to tell the story...
When I was a junior in HS, I was very depressed and walked around with my head hanging down all the time.
This senior who looked a lot like NFS4 (complete w/glasses) would always holler "There goes the prettiest girl in the school!" whenever I walked by. Everyone would stop and look at me and he would just grin... he was a popular senior, but I never actually met him or learned his name. He always made me smile because I thought, "My God, this guy is off his rocker!".
Anyway, because of him, I make it a point to reach out to those in pain, even just to make them laugh or smile. I wish more than anything else I could find him and tell him what a profound effect he had on me.
