It's still just based on opinion, isn't it? You don't like it. That's fine. A million other people do.

Nuff said.

Seemed to improve my game playing on line. DONT use the Logitech drivers or USB if you can help it.

Wish it was just slightly smaller though like my MX-300.

the mx 700 may have problems over greater distances (about 4-5 feet) for me. also when the battery is low and i have a lot of cans in between it gets messy. also when the base is too near to other electronical thingys it might have some troubles.

the strangest point i found was where the optical thingy is. it's quit near the thumb and not as normal about in the middle of the mouse. but i only have a weird feeling too it after long hours of gaming when i feel that my hand/lower arm gets tired and i start to change the moving pattern.

i'm using the newest logitech drivers, the mouse is on usb and all in all i'm very happy with it.

I just got my MX Duo about 2 weeks ago. I had a normal cheapo corded Logitech Optical, and while I wouldn't call the Mx700 the best mouse EVAR, I really don't notice too much difference in the accuracy. I haven't tried minesweeper on it, but I do play card games, RTS, and FPS. Seems just fine for me!

nope. i have 2 of them, both work within specs.

as i said. to me the wireless mouse is a necessary evil. i just happen to hate cords more than the defects in the wireless mouse, but this mouse doesn't track NEARLY as well as an optical corded mouse and anyone who thinks so is just deceiving themselves.

WOuldn't you say that this is personal opinion? sounds like the hand controlling it.

try playing Minesweeper. it's the precision not the speed that's the problem.

mindsweeper isn't worth playing anyway. MY PERSONAL OPINION

Hahaha, first of all I have no problem you thinking the mouse sucks, but the reason you think it sucks.... You have a hard time playing minesweeper with it? LOL hahaha. I love my MX700 and it's more precise than any other mouse I have. Works great with all my games, even the ones that come with windows :)

Does having the base too close (closer than 8") really effect the tracking that much? I have it about 5" away from where I use my mouse, and 5" away from my LCD and speakers.

Agreed. You just have a bad one. Or else you have something that's interfering with the signal.
