Let me just say that going from VIA to SiS solved all my problems ;)

"So NFS4, are you going to tell us all what Sis board you are using? I for one am curious."

I think that leaves only one...the Chaintech mATX board...7SID or something...

Where did he say he wasn't using the ECS board? I just haven't seen him confirm that yet, just wondering. I currently have an Abit KT7A raid, and while I am having no problems(knocks on wood)I just feel it is time for a change, and with so much on the horizon, I am leaning towards the ECS K7S5A due to it seeming to be a good board as well as cheap, so i can get rid of it later if i need to without losing a lot of money. So it seems to be a good board right, no known problems? I don't really need overclocking, so Maybe that is the way i will go, don't know what i will do without my raid though. Anybody know a good place to get this bundled with a Palo 1.4?

<< Theres a couple of proggies for the fsb. Check out the official thread😛 >>

Do you realize how big that thread is??? How bout some links? 😀

<<let me take this opportunity to say boo and hiss to abit. via was only half your problem imho>>

I concur, but I'd say most of the problems are Abit's fault. VIA has had their problems, but when other manufacturers are making good boards based on VIA, it's hard not to blame Abit.

As for which SiS735 board I have, it ain't ECS, PC Chips, or Amtron. And it's been out for a while now

Hopefully SiS's P4 boards are just as good (and cheap)

Heres one with 32 settings for the fsb on a K7S5A.cpucool😎

EDIT LOL, now you have to recommend a good typing proggie so I can type fast enough to get to 19000 posts in one lifetime.🙂

If the PLL on the reference board is the same as on the ECS board, cpucool should be able to change the fsb. I did notice higher no load temps for some reason running 150fsb from the bios compared to doing it with the software.
