My Local Home Depot (Baltimore, MD) is selling Belkin 350VA UPS's for $18. They are $59.99 at Belkin.com. Here is the link to the product:

wasn't it 350VA?
I noticed that the unit says 4 surge protected outlet...so what about the other four? If you have a printer or speakers or tablet or scanner or whatever...they are still connected to the computer so would that negate the surge protection? Someone please explain...btw it's $25 at my depot.

You hook your Monitor and Computer to the Battery enabled outlets.(which are surge also.

The four "surge" outlets you hook up your other stuff...like a scanner or speakers.

With a 350va model, I would recommend that you get two....one for monitor, one for Computer.
