And I have not shipped anything yet...I am asking because this is the first time that this kind of offer is made to me.

That letter that was posted is 'obviously' a scam.

I mean does it mean that everyone from nigeria is a crook? I would not think so...that 'everyone' is.

Good idea of shipping to where this person is and they can ship it to nigeria themselves.

Western Union only and you will be OK.

Cash doesn't have to clear...not sure what your definition of 'cash' is..
Clear - maybe make sure it's not counterfeit.

HAHAHA wow

edit:

I guess I would ask for cash and then not ship anything. Scamming nigerians scammers ftw

Yes, everyone in Nigeria is a crook.

I would not think so...that 'everyone' is.

And you would be wrong...and out one laptop.

If you get the cash in hand via Western Union, I wouldn't have a problem selling.

Yes you are an idiot for even making this thread. Unless its a parody and in that case 7/10.

As someone else said, did this "US military person" email you from a military email address? Common sense FTL.....

They counterfeit money orders there, seen it done a million times. It needs to be cold, hard greenbacks, and even then I'd use a counterfeit pen on them.

If he's real military overseas the address will have APO/FPO somewhere in it. If it doesn't, best to avoid the transaction.

Western Union Money Transfer > You. Once you have the cash in hand from WU, you're set.

Go for it. What could possibly go wrong?

Dain, we must be kindred souls. I think I got the same email. Maybe we should pool our resources and split the proceeds. We could be RICH! 😀

If they pay cash, they're not scammers.

To the OP:
Ask for cash. If you get cash, then ship it. If they want to pay any other way than cash, say no thank you and move on. It's that simple.
