And to the victor belong the spoils.

It is apperant diplomacy has failed. Rather than these little skirmishes in the hills and streets, declare war and go after it. I think the world is sick and tired of reading about this BS every day in the paper and on the nightly news. It's like a couple of rival siblings that need to be spanked and sent to there rooms for behaving badly.

When its all over, life will go on. With a Palestinian controlled Jerusalem or Isreali controlled, God will sort it out.

Just my opinion. Share yours now.

We're talking about two groups with conflicting religions claiming the same land and living within a stones throw from each other. Short of complete annihilation of either one, I don't see there ever being peace there.

If Israel were to declare a full out war the Palestinians wouldn't have a chance in hell of winning. I'm pretty sure Israel could wipe out the entire Middle East by themselves if they realyl wanted to.

Problem is, that most countries, including the US, don't know how to stay out of anything. If there is a major war over there, short of throwing rocks and destroying buildings, you can guarantee it will involve more than Israel and the Palestinians. This would definitely spill over, and nobody knows where it would end. So the best you can hope for is that is it doesn't escalate out of control. Be careful what you wish for.

They have been doing this for THOUSANDS OF YEARS...

Its the way they work....

Israel would cut the Palestines down in a day, no need for a 7 day war..

Sometimes you have to let the fleas bite before you scratch..

Let em fight...

Unfortunatly, like any deep seated conflict, the only solution will be near annihilation of one of the camps. We all know who would be annihilated. Only problem is, we won't let that happen, so you get the same BS we have with Kosovo. Life sucks, and it ain't getting better (or worse).

Live in New York or Florida for one week. There will be NO doubt which side you'll pull for in this eternal conflict.

I take it that's a slam against the Jewish communities in those two areas?

You don't think in today's climate that there are countries that would allow 'Israel to cut down the Palestinians'? Do you really? If the Palestinians were truly in this alone, they would have been slapped down long ago by Israel. I'm just trying to convey that while I believe the US shouldn't stick its nose into everything, I also don't believe this world is able to isolate itself from any region. Everyone has a stake in everything that goes on, in one way or the other. I'm interested in what might happen, and agree they are no match for Israel, but I don't believe it is as simple as that. As I said, if Israel thought it was, this would not be an issue. They are obviously more superior. This has really been more civil than governmental, with neither side taking any official stance on anything. I believe the governments want peace, as much as the world, they just haven't figured out a way to do it and save face with their people.

It's a slam against the prevalent self pitying, self absorbed, and arrogant members of those communities who happen to be Jewish.

I see it as two identical people with an identical 3 branch religion killing each other in the name of the same God. The oppressed has become the oppressor and the newly oppressed want the part. Fear makes us insane.

I've lived in FL for 29 years. However, I don't know anyone over there.

I know it's cliche, but there are no winners in wars. It's easy to sit here and type on our computers about how we really wish they would fight and get it over with. Without personally knowing anyone involved.

Sure, I get sick of hearing about it, but that along with everything else hyped up by media. If it wasn't for the religious aspect this wouldn't make the 5 o'clock news.

True. But certain groups have raised it to an art form. Along with tying up the legal system with frivolous law suits against a neighbor, say, because his sprinkler wet your driveway.
