What ever happened to spiking it with brandy?

She should have asked the mother first, but then again her child should have asked the other passengers if it was ok to scream and cry and generally make the entire flight a nightmare.

yeah, that makes sense.... NOT

Its what kids do when they are frightened and don't know how to express it, they grow out of it, so expecting the kid to be at the same developed social level as the stewards is moronic

If you give a baby attention, it will shut up. If you're a parent and insist on going on vacation with your 10month old baby, then keep the damn thing quiet. If you can't get your baby to quit crying, then maybe you should seek some better child-caring skills. Maybe you can ignore it, but many people can't. Get off your high horse thinking that it's okay that everyone in the plane is forced to listen to your baby cry. When my younger brother would cry in public uncontrollably, my parents got advice from a doctor and learned new techniques to calm him down. Many parents should be doing that instead of going on vacation.

Why the hell are you going on vacation (unless it's a funeral) with your 10month old baby?

Another thing.. why do people insist on bringing their babies into church when there's a nursery specifically made to care for them fore the one-hour service? Attention maybe?

Your a tool. A tool that has NO experience with young children. You should STHU now before you make a bigger fool of yourself than you already have.
