I came home tonight to find a blue 2002 Cavalier parked in my roommate's paid-for, numbered, covered parking spot. We all have stickers on our cars that say what parking spot belongs to us. This car has no sticker at all, and is parked very sloppy, on top of it all. I have just enough room to slide into my paid-for, numbered, covered parking spot to the left of it without crossing the line to the left where my very kind neighbor is parked. Just above the car is posted a sign regarding 24-hour towing with the name of the towing company and a warning not to park in the numbered spots unless you're the one who owns it or have permission to.
My roommate isn't home, but tonight is one of his nights off work and he's probably going to be back later tonight to find his parking spot taken.
Out comes my cell phone and a call is made to the number posted on the big towing company sign right above the car. They're sending a truck and will have the space cleared in approximately 20 minutes.

Ahh... I feel better now.
