No, owned would have been if the Asian had turned, punched the dude and knocked his ass out. All that happened was the robber got chased a bit and ended up unconscious by a sleeper hold. The asian kid probably just walked away and the robber got up and went home a few hours later.

uh, his mugging attempt failed, he got humiliated on camera, arrested, and a prison sentence of 10 years. Ownage doesn't have to occur in a purely physical scuffle

Any attempted mugging that ends with the would-be mugger unconscious on the ground is ownage, regardless of how they ended up that way. Let alone there being video evidence or jail time for the would-be mugger.
