I'm running iPC 10.5.6 (OSX86) on my system and it has been working fine, until today when I loaded it up with a few apps: X-Plane (game), TemperatureMonitor, 1Password and Applejack. After installing these I rebooted my system and now it gets to the graphical load screen, loads for a bit, then restarts. I'm a total noob to Macs...any idea what is causing this and how to fix it? Is it a permissions issue? Did any of those apps corrupt something?

I'm gonna mess with it and see if I can figure it out. I am guessing that 1password messed up something with the login. I dunno, we'll see.

Yea.. is there a boot disc of any sort when you install via iPC method? You could always try to repair permissions on the drive, if you can boot into the Leopard install disc.

Boot in single user mode and turn off any login items that may be causing it.

can you reset the parameter RAM?

on an apple keyboard you Hold option+command+R+P on startup. and let it chime at least twice, maybe 4 times.

for a windows keyboard that may be alt+windows key+R+P

*EDIT*
I'm probably a moron. I just remembered your not on a legit apple system. Therefore you don't have PRAM to reset:eek: But you can still give it a try.
