Anyone here ever try it?

I'm thinking about experimenting with my lenses...i have a 50mm and a 18-135, i plan to reverse the 50 onto the 18-135 (filter to filter).
 
I've done it before. I did it with my Sigma 30mm reversed onto a Tamron 180mm macro. The combination was big, unwieldy, and the photo quality sucked. However, I think that lens stacking is heavily dependent on which lenses you choose to stack together. Some lenses work better than others. I've seen incredible shots with stacked combos.
