Lens add-ons for iphone???

They work decent, but some people say the attachment ring falls off, so they have to epoxy the rings on. (There are also versions for android phones iirc) Definitely not doing it on my phone

For what it's worth, and only semi-on-topic with your question, but not totally off-topic... I bought a $3 (shipped) microscope cell phone gizmo and it took impressively good photos for the price. My daughter had a science fair and she did it on the effect of industrial run-off chemicals on phosphorescent algae and she used it and took some really great photos of the algae using it.

So while I haven't actually tried anything like the linked lens, I can say that you can get some impressively good results with a bit of a trial and error and other cheap lenses.
