Lenovo Yoga 3 pro video performance (fps) is bad

Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 pro (brand new) and the video performance is awful. When I watch videos on Twitch.tv the fps is horrible (it's not the internet cuz on my desktop it's working fine). Also, on YouTube, Chrome crashes when I watch a video and idk why.

However, if I use the video player that comes with W 8.1, it works perfectly fine, video is fine and smooth.

Please help, this was such an expensive laptop.

Is it the same when you turn off the wireless and physically connect it to the network (which I assume your desktop is).

Well if things are crashing then something is wrong hardware wise. Either a bad windows install or failed hardware. The cpu used is a fanless low tdp design so heat generation can be an issue, but it would throttle, not crash. Sounds like you need to replace it.
