lenovo X1

I like many aspects of the design, but the 1366x768 screen resolution is disappointing. IMO 768 vertical pixels is just too few for serious multitasking or productivity tasks. For such a high-end laptop, they could have at least included the option of a 1440x900 or 1600x900 panel. Sony actually offers a full 1080p panel in their 13" Z-series.

I'm assuming the screen is TN since nothing else was mentioned, but I feel like an IPS screen (or at least the option) would have been a great addition. The less expensive X220 has such an option, and it's really a refreshing change in a sea of subpar laptop LCD panels.

If it has a crappy screen then nobody will buy it, I think.

You'd be surprised how many people are totally clueless about LCD screen technology. 99% of consumers probably have no idea what the difference between TN, PVA, and IPS are.
