Actually I don't think it's that bad a deal when you consider the 3 year onsite warranty that is included in the price...

I've owned an IBM ThinkCentre before, bought it for my wife. She came home, turned it on, surfed the web, worked great for years. No issues, dead quiet. No upgrade potential, but that wasn't it's purpose in life. Just a solid, well built machine.
 
They are great machines, the price isn't too bad. The warranty is great. You can't build it that cheap from Lenovo. It also comes with XP instead of Vista. I have about 6 A62 systems across my install base and I haven't had an issue with a single one of them. These are the intel dual core vareity tho.
