I've come into possession of two M715Q Gen 2 (2400GE) and one Gen 1 (A12-9800e) for free (without storage and in mixed RAM configurations).

I'm planning on adding 2x8GB Samsung 3200mhz kits (these are so cheap now they're essentially free) to the Gen 2 and a 2400MT/s kit to the Gen 1. I'm curious what (<$20 on eBay) SSD's I should put in each. I'm probably going to sell them along locally.

I've noticed that there are many M715Q systems (in both Gen 1 and Gen 2 flavors) on eBay. The Gen 1 Bristol Ridge systems are essentially e-waste as I haven't seen anything concrete that says a BIOS update allows them to use Zen 1.

The only downside I can see is that Ryzen 2000 APU's don't officially support Windows 11 (maybe that's why they're so cheap!).

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these? I used to use A12-9800e systems for Milkyway@Home FP64 but that's old news now.
