I saw my first Lenovo desktop in my shop today. From their "consumer" line.
What a joke. It has this huge red light on the front that looks like the Easy Button from Staples. Turns out its a rotating knob which you can choose to set at Turbo, Cool and some other setting I forget.
It comes with some crappy built in back up software that Vista disables after you run the Vista updates as "not compatible". Of course the Lenovo website, which doesn't even list that model, doesn't have any update for the software, as per their forums.
So I go to uninstall it. And then Vista won't boot.
Seriously, I don't know if the Lenovo business line, or the their ThinkPads are made any better, but all in all, IBM must be laughing their *ss off that they Lenovo paid money for their name and are now screwing up big time.
