My parents own ford econoline 150 and our transmission have broke down so far 3 times, latest one is today 6000 miles after the last time the transmission was changed under warrenty by the dealership.Anyone hear have deal with using lemon law to force dealership to give you the money back. The car has 42,000 miles and is 3 years old. Anyone know if we can use it in this cituation?

p.s to those that say that i should ask my lawyer i have, he is currently researching and will get back to me on monday just wondering if anyone about the law

It varies from state to state, look here and you will probably find where you stand according to geography. Most states say warranty period or 1 year after sale.

styrafoam is right, it varies by state. Here in KY is only for one year, I know since I tried to invoke it after having constant probs with VW but was told I am SOL, even though mfg warranty was still valid.
