legit keyloggers

Are there any sources to get a legit keylogger, I don't have any issues paying for it. It was brought up at our IT meeting this morning and I'm not sure of the answer. searching brought up quite a few shady sites.

One thing to consider when implementing such a monitoring tool would be to include it in the code of conduct or acceptable use policy for internet / computers in your organization. Then get the employees to sign it and retain a copy on an annual basis (e.g. an acknowledgment that their activities may be monitored, who has the authority to do so etc.).

You should probably get legal involved before implementing such a program (they can help with the language for the policy).

Thanks, didn't even think of that. We do have a computer usage policy that basicaly states nothing they do on the company network is private but I'll have someone look futher into this aspect, if we decide to go with a some sort of bigbrother software.

I've installed it in a couple of offices. In one case they found out an employee was stealing from them. But you do need to talk to legal first, they had all the employees sign a document saying they'd been informed about the policy and agreed to it. Also, Avira detected it as malware (I think it's been fixed since). AVG left it alone, those were the only AV's I've tried it under.
