I picked up early access to it. The game is neat so far, but the tactical combat has some different rules to it. Far different than King's Bounty and HOMM. The rules are quite restrictive, so much that it doesn't seem like much strategy is involved during the fight itself. It is like a game of chess, except that the first two moves tend to decide the rest of the battle and overall army strength seems to the most important aspect to victory. They removed some damage variance from the game, or so it seems. When you go to attack it gives you the exact damage of say 40 instead of 30-50 where you have to make a educated decision. Balancing this game is going to be a nightmare based on their combat rules, I think.
