Most swords in the book of swords are pretty cool. I don't remember but I think there is no defense against Far Slayers.

the one in crouch tiger hidden dragon is the Green Destiny or something like that, my favorite sword is the Sakaba sword.

Shieldbreaker is a defense against all the other swords except Woundhealer. Farslayer eventually was destroyed by Shieldbreaker. In the Last Book of Swords, Shieldbreaker destroyed all the other swords remaining except Woundhealer, since you couldn't consider Woundhealer a weapon and Shieldbreaker got destroyed instead. The last book was an easy way out for the author anyway; wasn't that good all things considered.

Grayswandir the Nightsword, but don't forget Werewindle the Daysword. Actually both swords are Spikards like Merlin's ring. You don't find that out unless you read the Amber short stories, however. Zelanzy never finished them before dying, so that sucked.

By the was, is the Heaven sword and Dragon sword thing the final part in the Condor legend series?

Where can I get that yin yang thing someone was talking about? It sounds interesting.

<< oh did i mention u cant learn both (if i remember correctly)

it will kill u
u can only learn one

yin or yang
>>

Hence why I said: "somehow" 🙂

I read a translated version, but I remember reading that it can be done somehow. It's difficult and you must follow a specific sequence to avoid severe consequences, but it wasn't impossible. Yin and yang in harmony. 😛

I could be dead wrong, though.

Jin Yong is god. 🙂

<< That's from the book ... anyway
6 mut shin ken's gotta be the coolest.
>>

It's pretty cool, but I don't think it's the coolest.

What book? I want to read this book. Would someone please tell me the name of this book!!!

Thanks🙂

Darn, just looked up the name. I really got to learn how to read Chinese and Japanese.

Or Korean. 🙂

I read the Korean translation of nearly all his books. It's not perfect and it does lose some elements from the translation, but it's not as bad as translating a Chinese story into English. 🙂

My strong understanding of Chinese history/culture makes up for it. 😛
<-- showing his arrogant side

Jin Yong is god. I'm yet to see an author who can write as creatively and deeply as he does. I can approach and interpret his stories in so many different ways, or I could just read them for the sake of reading a fun story. It's great. Once you get hooked into one of the books, you'll be his fan for life. 🙂

I love the Condor Hero series. As joohang said, you can read the books just for fun or analyze it for even deeper meaning. He raises a lot of good questions in the book about life in general.

Have you guys seen the 2000 version of Heaven Sword, Dragon Sabre? Gigi Lai is soooo hot in that movie.
