"They take about a $7,000 to $8,000 hit" in depreciation, Morgan says. "But they will trade a 2003 for a 2004 to get a Hemi."

Boy are these people stupid.

Have you driven an '02 or '03 Ram with the 5.9 liter V8 or the 4.7 liter V8? Talk about a SLUG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't think they were that bad considering the size of the truck... the 4.7 moves the Dak into mid 15's in the 1/4 mile.. which is quite quick!

I think a lot of people don't even know what a hemi is but the commercials harp on it so much that "it must be good". Anyway, I think that the new dodge SUV looks pretty damn manly, and the RAM, while looking like its bed needs to be lengthened (the cab is huge!) looks good too. Nissan armada and the Dodge Durango are both SUVs that I'd like, if I was into being a gas-guzzling bastard!!

I agree that the RAM pickup looks pretty nice, but I think the new Durango looks far from manly. To me it looks like a bloated mini-van. I'm sure it is plenty nice inside...but no thanks. I"m also not a huge fan of the Nissan Armada...although I like it a LOT more than the new Durango. For some reason the profile/backend of the Armada just doesn't seem right to me.

Have you actually checked out a Durango in person ? In person it doesn't look anything like a mini-van.. it looks fantastic.
