Ugh :( I sure hope nothing comes of this.

It would suck to wait 20 years to see the a-hole who murdered my Father finally done with his 2 appeals, and then him not actually be put to death.

I cannot fathom how anyone could ever oppose the death penalty. :(

Who else is going to file the case? How can you challenge the legality of a punishment if you aren't the one being punished? Fortunately, our legal system doesn't allow me to sue the government for something it did to someone else that has no impact on me.

I do not find it ridiculous at all. Lethal injections should be held to a pretty high standard. I don't know the specifics of the case, but they should always be administered by specialists who are well-trained enough to administer the proper dosage of each substance so that the pain receptors are non functioning.

i don't get it. if you can kill animals by putting them "to sleep" forever why can't you do the same thing to death row immates? just knock them out and give them a lethal injection after.

I suspect that people who oppose the death penalty are people who have never been truly affected by evil in their lives.

Generally the argument against it is that it's untrained doctors administering the injections, and as such, they sometimes will not give enough anesthetic or whatever it is, then the inmate is paralyzed, then injected with an excruciatingly painful injection. If they are capable of feeling pain at that point, it would theoretically be equivalent to torture, but since they were paralyzed, they are not able to protest in any way. That is my understanding, at any rate. I don't think they would be challenging the idea of being put to sleep painlessly.

(Not aimed @ you, but more so why people are crying about lethal injection)

Cry me a river. The excruciating pain will be gone in a few seconds when they stop breathing law abiding citizens air. In fact, while they are suffering, if they really want to take their mind off of it, how about think about the family and friends of the person who you killed.

Enjoy hell assholes.

I assume you mean shore and not shower as being 500 miles away from a shower would just make me very stinky and not likely dead.
