4 years ago, I got caught stealing from Sears. Yeah i kno i kno i was pretty dumb. Was in college and was part of a prank. Anyways, does anyone know how I can go about getting this expunged from my record. Ive never done anything b4 or anything afterwards. Traffic sh!t here and there, but never another misdemeanor. Anyone know what I can do to get this Larceny 6th degree off my record.

Emm, if you were over 18 at the time, I think it's there for good.

It depends on whether or not the state pressed charges. I assume you were arrested. However, did you have to pay a fine, jail, community service? or did they make you a deal?

Usually for a first offense like that, you can make a deal with them to do a lot of service hours and have everything off of your record - even the arrest.

If you were arrested and charges were brought and you were found guilty, I don't think there's a chance in hell you can get it off your record.
