Is there a place to where I can download and learn about legal ISO files? They sound like they could be useful. Are their any legal iso sites that I can learn from?
Thanks

CDR and CD/RW files are all written to ISO 9660 or Joliet as a standard format. ISO is the International Standards Organization. What is it you are asking? All CD files are ISO or Joliet, legal and illegal, whatever that may mean.

As corky-g said,

ISO is simply a file format...

The contents of the ISO file, determine whether or not the file is "illegal" or not.

Legal ISO downloads include many linux distributions like redhat that when burned on a CD function kind of like your windows CD would, it's bootable and can install the OS on your drive.
