Don't agree. Republicans want any debate to be equal debate. So, if a flat earther comes to campus, we should equally give him time in a science debate etc. etc. The Trump Republican party does well with fact free debates while the media covers things as he said/she said as if somehow the truth is in the middle. What is the middle of a fact and an outright lie? I think the push back we are seeing is in response to this.

The problem most Democrats don't get is Conservatives will highlight these issues whether it is true or not. They will invent these issues and Deomcats will try to self police in fear of being called out. It's a game that Conservatives play over and over aided by Fox News and their propaganda malleable base.

BTW: conservative media pushed the boycott line long before any liberal did. Remember the mass boycotts of Disney in the 90s because they hired gays? They are the ones currently pushing that all liberals are the enemy and truthful media is their enemy.
