Left4Dead - $23.99 on Steam this weekend

Wow, that's amazing. Even beats the 25 dollar deal they had a couple of months ago. Jump on this, folks so I can have more cool people to play with.
 
Nice. I've been waiting for it to go on sale again ever since I missed the $25 weekend deal. I knew they'd drop it again before too long and I'd feel like a sucker if I paid $50 for it (from most accounts, the game isn't really worth $50 anyway).
 
Nice, bought my third copy so now all three of my LAN pc's have it. Definitly a great game and worth it at such a cheap price!
 
I just bought the Orange Box for last weekends deal. I had already played Portal, HL + HL EP1, but TF2 was worth it alone. I wonder why TF2 is $20 when it came out and L4D was $50, and still $40 normally. I guess they think they can charge more simply because it has Zombies in it 😀

Cheap maybe, but knowing Steam, it'll be $9.99 the week after I buy it. They have some amazingly good sales. Orange Box for 10 bucks shows how cheap I am. I LOVE TF2. I could have been playing it since launch for 20 bones. But I waited for $10, and I feel like a retard for it lol.

I'm wondering if maybe it was because the original TF was free, and so they didn't think people would get it if it was expensive. Good call though, because I think the low price and being bundled in the Orange/Black Box helped popularize it.
 
Thanks OP! I was waiting for this! D/L it now ... a Legit copy that is! 🙂 Taking forever to D/L tho. I'm on RRlite. only 1meg down. Anyway. Bright side is you can pay via paypal, no having to dig around trying to feed the credit card numbers in. Pretty easy. Probably gonna take a good hour to d/l! Sigh. Doing 80-90K per second and still on 0%

Awesome game is awesome, I've bought like 5 copies of this, ranging in price from the the $25 weekend deal to the full $50, for myself and gifting to friends. It's a kickass game to be sure.

Lol, same here. I have the three purchased for my own accounts and then two more bought in conjunction with some friends to gift to other, not so financially stable friends. It's not all about being generous though, this game is just so much cooler with 4 or 8 people you know playing.
