I grew up in the "Rust Belt". My father and grandfather both worked in steel mills (my father still does) and I spent 4 summers working in the Melt Shop. These places didn't start losing jobs during the Bush administration they started dieing in the late 1970's. I remember my father losing his job at one mill because it was closing and it was long before either Bush was President.
