Left the handbrake on...

I was driving yesterday and left the handbrake on for about 2.5 miles into my drive, about how much damage would I have caused to the car? Yes, I know I'm a freaking idiot for not noticing for that long.

No idea..your rear brakes might be a little more worn than usual, though.

I take it you have an automatic tranny? You definitely would've noticed if it was a manual...

All you did was wear down your brake pads wiredspider, you should have them looked at

You probably just wore out you brakes some an glazed the drums a little

A couple of miles won't do a whole lot of damage but it it has been a very long time since the last brake job it wouldn't hurt to pull a drum for inspection and if they are discs just pull the whell and look.
